Blake dedicates himself to helping clients live their best lives. As a retirement income specialist, he helps clients achieve their vision of a work-optional status by designing investment income strategies with a specialty in rising and tax-free income. His unyielding passion for helping others and attentive listening skills are crucial in his ability to offer clients highly personalized services that help meet their financial needs.
Blake graduated cum laude from Auburn University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a major in finance. In 2009, he received his master’s degree in banking, summa cum laude, from the Barrett School of Banking. Blake, who began his professional career at Wells Fargo as a branch manager, has used his extensive academic background throughout his more than 25 years in the financial services field. His unique background endows him with specialized insight into individual and business cash flows, which he continuously used while working as a financial advisor with Edward Jones for almost 10 years. Prior to that, he served as a commercial lender and Auburn Market Executive at BancorpSouth, as well as a branch manager and business banker at AmSouth Bank. In 2018, he became an Independent Financial Advisor and enjoys the freedom and flexibility that it allows him.

Blake and Traci are proud supporters of organizations like the CARE Humane Society, Gogue Performing Arts Center, the Women’s Philanthropy Board, The Opelika Chamber of Commerce, and many more. He also served as the past president of the Kiwanis Club of Lee County and as a board member of the American Red Cross and East Alabama Community Federal Credit Union. Additionally, he was a past ambassador for both the Opelika Chamber of Commerce and a diplomat for the Auburn Chamber of Commerce. Blake is also a graduate of Leadership Lee County. He is a member of Auburn University’s The Samford Society and First Methodist Church of Opelika.
Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, Blake lives in Opelika, Alabama, with his wife, Traci, and their two cats. He enjoys traveling and competing in marathons and triathlons.
